Quality & Certifications

Unwavering commitment to quality at every stage of manufacturing. AS9100D certified with AWS welding credentials most shops can’t match.

— Quality Philosophy

Quality Is Not a Department

Founded in 2022, ADMI built its quality management system from the ground up no legacy processes to unlearn, no outdated documentation to retrofit. Our QMS was designed from Day One around AS9100D requirements, with modern digital systems and a dedicated inspection room equipped with CMM, optical comparator, surface tester, hardness tester, and height gauges.

Quality Supervisor Juan Lopez leads our inspection team in our dedicated QC lab, ensuring every part meets drawing requirements before it ships. We machine and weld Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel, A286, and refractory metals including Molybdenum, Tantalum, and tungsten, delivering consistent results for Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Bell Helicopter, and SpaceX.

“We built our quality system from scratch, modern, digital, and AS9100D-compliant from Day One. No legacy baggage, just precision.”

— Quality Management

Quality Management System

Independently audited and certified to the most demanding aerospace and defense quality standards.

AS9100D

Aerospace Quality Management System

The gold standard for aerospace manufacturing quality. AS9100D incorporates the full ISO 9001:2015 framework with additional aerospace-specific requirements for risk management, configuration control, and product safety. ADMI achieved AS9100D certification in 2023, within our first full year of operations. Covers all CNC machining, welding, assembly, and inspection processes across our Temecula facility.

ISO 9001:2015

International Quality Standard

The internationally recognized standard for quality management systems. ISO 9001:2015 establishes a process-based approach to quality with emphasis on risk-based thinking, leadership engagement, and continual improvement. Our QMS was built from scratch to meet these requirements from Day One, with modern digital documentation, process controls, and integrated nonconformance management.

CMMC Compliant

Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification

Compliant with the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). CMMC compliance ensures ADMI meets the cybersecurity practices and processes required for DoD contract work, including access controls, incident response, audit logging, and secure handling of sensitive defense data throughout our IT infrastructure.

NIST 800-171

Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information

Adherent to NIST Special Publication 800-171 requirements for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in nonfederal systems. Our information security controls cover access management, awareness training, audit accountability, configuration management, identification and authentication, incident response, maintenance, media protection, personnel security, physical protection, risk assessment, security assessment, system communications protection, and system integrity.

— Compliance

Regulatory Compliance

Registered and compliant with U.S. federal export control regulations for defense manufacturing.

ITAR Registered

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

Registered with the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This registration authorizes ADMI to manufacture defense articles and provide defense services as defined on the United States Munitions List (USML). Our ITAR registration enables us to serve classified and controlled defense programs for Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, and other prime contractors.

Facility Security

Restricted access manufacturing areas with badge-controlled entry and surveillance systems.

Data Protection

Encrypted servers, controlled networks, and strict document handling procedures for CUI/ITAR data.

Personnel Screening

Background checks and export control training for all employees with access to controlled information.

Compliance Audits

Regular internal audits and annual DDTC compliance reviews to maintain registration status.

ITAR Registered

— Approvals

Customer Approvals

Direct approvals from major aerospace and defense prime contractors.

Boeing DPD/MBD Approved

Digital Product Definition / Model-Based Definition

Approved to work directly from Boeing’s Digital Product Definition and Model-Based Definition data. This qualification means ADMI can directly interpret 3D model data for manufacturing, eliminating traditional 2D drawings and enabling faster, more accurate production. DPD/MBD approval requires demonstrated capability to extract GD&T, tolerances, notes, and manufacturing intent directly from Boeing’s digital models.

Lockheed Martin Approved

Approved Supplier for Defense Programs

Qualified and approved supplier for Lockheed Martin defense programs. ADMI has completed Lockheed Martin’s rigorous supplier qualification process and is authorized to produce flight-critical and mission-critical components for some of the most demanding defense platforms in production today. Approval covers CNC machining, welding, and assembly operations.

Welding Certifications

AWS-certified aerospace welding, a rare combination that makes ADMI a true full-service manufacturer. Most machine shops cannot weld.

— Key Differentiator

Welding + Machining Under One Roof

ADMI is one of the few aerospace suppliers that combines precision CNC machining with certified structural welding. Complex weldments can be machined and welded in a single facility, eliminating supplier coordination, reducing lead times, and maintaining full traceability from raw material to finished assembly.

We weld Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel, A286, and specialty refractory metals including Molybdenum, Tantalum, and Tungsten for the most demanding aerospace and defense applications.

AWS D1.2 Structural Welding Code: Aluminum

Certified for structural aluminum welding per AWS standards. Covers all aluminum alloy groups used in aerospace structures, weldments, and flight-critical assemblies.

AWS D1.6 Structural Welding Code: Stainless Steel

Certified for structural stainless steel welding. Covers austenitic, ferritic, and duplex stainless steels for corrosion-resistant aerospace and defense assemblies.

AWS D17.1 Specification for Fusion Welding for Aerospace Applications

The aerospace-specific welding certification covering all fusion welding processes for flight-critical components. The highest standard for aerospace weld quality. Few machine shops hold this certification.

AWS D1.2

Structural Welding Code: Aluminum

Certified to perform structural aluminum welding per AWS D1.2. Enables fabrication and welding of flight-critical aluminum structures and weldments for aerospace programs requiring structural integrity verification.

AWS D1.6

Structural Welding Code: Stainless Steel

Certified for structural stainless steel welding per AWS D1.6. Covers critical stainless steel weldments for aerospace and defense applications requiring both structural strength and corrosion resistance.

AWS D17.1

Fusion Welding for Aerospace Applications

The aerospace-specific welding specification covering all fusion welding processes for flight-critical components. AWS D17.1 is the premier welding standard for aerospace; few machine shops hold this certification.
