Assembly & Integration
Complex sub-assembly, kitting, and mechanical integration services that deliver complete, flight-ready hardware under one roof.
— Overview
Complete Assembly Under One Roof
ADMI provides comprehensive assembly and integration services that complement our precision CNC machining capabilities. By combining machining, welding, and assembly in a single facility, we eliminate the logistics complexity of shipping parts between vendors, reducing lead time, lowering cost, and tightening quality control across the entire build sequence.
Our assembly technicians are trained in aerospace-standard hardware installation, torque verification, and foreign object debris (FOD) prevention. Whether your program requires build-to-print sub-assemblies, kitted hardware packages, or fully integrated electro-mechanical modules, ADMI delivers complete, inspected, and documented hardware ready for the next level of integration.
Every assembly operation is performed under our AS9100D quality management system with full traceability from raw material through final buyoff. Our climate-controlled inspection room provides CMM verification at every stage to ensure critical dimensions and fits are maintained throughout the build process.

Assembly & Integration Services
Comprehensive build services from component assembly through full system integration.
Mechanical Assembly
Precision mechanical assembly of machined components, brackets, housings, and structural sub-assemblies. Torque-controlled fastening with documented verification per customer specs.
Electro-Mechanical Assembly
Integration of mechanical structures with electrical harnesses, connectors, sensors, and actuators. Continuity testing and functional verification included in the build process.
Kitting & Kit Management
Complete hardware kitting services including procurement, inspection, packaging, and inventory management. Serialized tracking ensures every kit ships complete and correct.
Hardware Installation
Installation of inserts, bushings, bearings, seals, and fasteners per engineering specifications. Specialized tooling ensures proper installation without damage to mating surfaces.
Build-to-Print
Complete build-to-print manufacturing from customer-provided drawings and specifications. Every step documented with full traceability from raw stock through final assembly buyoff.
Test & Verification
Functional testing, proof loading, leak testing, and dimensional verification of completed assemblies. Test reports and certificates of conformance delivered with every shipment.
— Quality Controls
Aerospace-Grade Assembly Standards
Every assembly operation is governed by rigorous quality controls that meet the demands of flight-critical hardware.
Torque Verification
All torqued fasteners are installed with calibrated tools and verified per customer or industry specifications. Torque values, sequences, and witness marks are documented in the build record with operator sign-off at each step.
FOD Prevention
Foreign Object Debris prevention protocols are enforced throughout the assembly area. Tool inventories are maintained before and after each operation, and all assemblies undergo FOD inspection before closeout. Dedicated clean zones ensure contamination-free builds.
In-Process Documentation
Every assembly step is recorded with operator identification, date stamps, and inspection sign-offs. Digital travelers maintain the complete build history from first operation through final buyoff and packaging.
Dimensional Control
Critical dimensions are verified at each assembly stage using our climate-controlled inspection room. CMM, optical comparators, and precision hand gauges ensure fit and alignment meet specifications before proceeding to the next build stage.
— Integrated Capabilities
Welding + Assembly Under One Roof
Certified Welding Complements Assembly
ADMI’s AWS-certified welding capabilities integrate directly with our assembly operations, enabling weldments and assemblies to be produced in a single manufacturing flow. This eliminates inter-vendor shipping, reduces lead time, and ensures consistent quality from first weld to final buyoff.
Our welders are certified to AWS D1.2 (Aluminum), D1.6 (Stainless Steel), and D17.1 (Aerospace Fusion Welding), enabling welded sub-assemblies to feed directly into mechanical assembly and integration operations without leaving our facility.
